Terms & Conditions

Rules and regulations for renting vehicles with West Crew Rentals.

Welcome to West Crew Rentals. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our car rental services in Dubai, UAE. By accessing this website or renting a car from us, we assume you accept these terms and conditions.

1. Driver Requirements and Validity

The renter and any additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid UAE driver's license or an international driving permit recognized in the UAE. For high-end luxury vehicles and sports cars, the minimum age requirement may be 25 years. The driving license must be held for at least one year.

2. Booking, Payment, and Refunds

A valid credit card, debit card, or cash deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Rental charges must be paid upfront. For early returns, refunds are generally not guaranteed, depending on the agreed minimum rental term and notice period. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup may result in cancellation fees. Payment types accepted include Visa, Mastercard, Cash, and Cryptocurrency.

3. Security Deposits

A pre-authorization amount is typically blocked on the renter's credit card as a security deposit for potential fines, tolls, or minor damages. This deposit varies based on the vehicle category (typically AED 1,000 to AED 5,000). Security deposits will be completely unblocked within 21 to 30 working days after the vehicle is returned, provided there are no pending fines or toll charges.

4. Traffic Fines and Salik (Tolls)

The renter is 100% responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, and Salik (road toll) charges incurred during the rental period. West Crew Rentals reserves the right to charge an administration fee for each fine processed. Toll charges are AED 5 (or specified rate) per pass. These amounts will be deducted from your deposit or charged to your primary payment method.

5. Vehicle Usage Rules

The vehicle must only be driven on paved roads. Off-roading, dune bashing, racing, illegal towing, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Violating these rules will void the insurance coverage entirely, making the renter fully liable for all repair costs, recovery fees, and potential legal actions. Sub-leasing or allowing unauthorized drivers is an offense. Cross-border travel outside the UAE is not permitted unless officially agreed upon with a border crossing certificate.

6. Mileage Limits

Our standard daily rentals include a mileage limit (e.g., 250 KM per day) explicitly stated on your rental agreement. Excess mileage will be billed at an additional rate per kilometer, also stated during booking.

7. Damage and Accidents

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance in accordance with UAE law. However, in the event of an accident or damage, an official Police Report must be obtained before moving the vehicle (unless instructed otherwise by authorities). If the renter is strictly at fault, an insurance excess/deductible applies. You must notify West Crew Rentals immediately upon an incident.

By signing the Rental Agreement in person, you acknowledge you have read and agreed to the full scope of the UAE Car Rental laws alongside these terms.
